Ella is 1! | Studio Cake Smash Session + Under the Sea First Birthday Party

I don’t usually share personal/family photos on the blog simply because they get the back burner to commissioned work. Believe me, I would love to share more because my nieces and nephews are the absolute cutest, but it’s taken years of working on my work-flow process for me to finally reach a point where I have the time to work on my own photos and not feel guilty! Additionally, the details of my niece’s cake smash session and first birthday party are particularly special and definitely worth sharing! My sister-in-law put a lot of time and effort into making this day fun and magical for all the kids (she made the cakes, cupcakes, cookies, decorations!) and the smiles and nose-scrunches are aplenty when the entire family gets together. With eight nieces and nephews here in PA, we have our fair share of birthday parties and celebrations, but I love how each and every one of them is unique- it shows how much we all value family and traditions and making memories. Happy 1st Birthday, Ella! We all love you SO much!
